When to use Recalculate results
Press it after you have corrected a scorecard on a round that is already closed, so the placings match the cards. You do not need it just because you closed scoring - closing already works the results out.
Per-trip planWhat it does
The Results panel appears once a round’s scoring is closed. Closing works the results out once and stores them. Recalculate results works them out again from the scorecards as they are right now, and replaces the stored result with the new one. It is not a repair for a fault - it is how the results catch up with a card you have changed.
It does not change whether scoring is open or closed. If the round belongs to a season, the season standings are worked out again too, so the table stays in step with the round.
When to press it
- Correct the scorecard that was wrong.
- Open the round’s Results panel.
- Select Recalculate results and confirm.
- Check the placings, then share them as usual.
You do not need it straight after closing scoring, because closing has already worked the results out. Nor do you need it to see a changed score on the live leaderboard while scoring is open.
