Plans, payments and how cancellation works

The free plan is free forever. A Trip pass unlocks one trip and the Society plan unlocks every trip for a year. Either way, you have 14 days to cancel, and upgrading from a pass to the plan only ever charges the difference.

What each plan gives you

The free plan is free forever: a basic tee sheet on every trip, with up to 12 players and one round. It never expires and you are never pushed onto a paid plan to keep using it.

A Trip pass unlocks the full set of paid features for one trip: unlimited players, every round, live scoring and emails. It is a one-off payment and does not renew.

The Society plan is an annual subscription that unlocks every trip you run for a year, with nothing to buy per trip. It renews automatically each year until you cancel.

Your 14-day cancellation right

However you pay, you have 14 days from buying to cancel, without giving a reason. To cancel, email hello@whosonthetee.app or use your account page - any clear statement that you want to cancel is enough.

For a Trip pass, that right ends early only once the pass is fully performed. Full performance needs both of these to be true: the trip’s last day has passed, and scores have been recorded for every round. A trip that has finished but was never scored, or one with only some rounds scored, has not been fully performed, and the pass stays refundable.

The Society plan works differently: cancelling within 14 days always gets you a full refund, whether or not you have already used it on a trip.

If the trip does not go ahead

If a trip is cancelled, rained off, or otherwise never played, the Trip pass was never fully performed, so your right to cancel continues for the rest of the 14 days. Email hello@whosonthetee.app and we will sort it out.

Upgrading from a Trip pass to the Society plan

If you still have the right to cancel your Trip pass when you upgrade, we refund what you paid for the pass and charge the full Society plan price - so you only ever pay the difference between the two.

If you upgrade after the pass can no longer be cancelled, it stays yours, and we credit what you paid for it against your first Society plan payment instead.

Either way, the amount you will pay is always shown before you confirm the upgrade.
