Open scoring and send the links

Hole data first, then open

Scoring needs to know the par and stroke index of every hole before it can work out what anyone scored. You enter that once per course and it is remembered.

1. Open your trip and switch to Match day.
2. Choose the round and select Enter hole data.
3. Fill in the Par and stroke index for each hole, then save.
4. Select Open scoring.
5. Use Share scoring links, or Copy group message to send one group at a time.

Until the hole data is in, the round shows as Not open and the button tells you what is missing. Once it is saved the round reads Ready, and opening scoring is one tap.

Send the links however suits you

Share scoring links gives you the lot in one message. Copy group message does one group at a time, which is usually better - it lands in that fourball’s own chat, and nobody has to hunt down their own name in a list of thirty-two. If your players have email addresses on file, you can send the links that way too.

Closing and reopening

When the last card is in, Close scoring stops any further changes and the round reads Closed. If something needs fixing afterwards, Reopen scoring puts it back, and players can edit what they submitted. Nothing is lost either way, so closing early is not a decision you have to agonise over.
