Fix it by hand

The whole point is that the app builds the draw so you don’t have to. Paste the players, set the rules once, generate, and a fair set of groups comes back. But automatic doesn’t mean fixed, and it doesn’t mean you’ve handed over the last word.

You can drag a player from one group to another. You can lock a group you’re happy with, then hit Improve, and the engine leaves your locked group alone and only re-works the rest. If a change makes things worse, you can roll it back to where you were.

It’s a tool, not a dictator. The app does the heavy lifting, the thousands of combinations you’d never sit and try by hand, and then it gets out of your way so you can make the calls only a captain can make.
